Government Extends Tax Incentives Until June 2022

The government has decided to extend the period of providing tax incentives for taxpayers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic until the end of the first semester of this year. The policy is contained in the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 3/PMK.03/2022 concerning Tax Incentives for Taxpayers Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Director of Counseling, Services and Public Relations of the Directorate General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance Neilmaldrin Noor said that the provision of tax incentives is expected to provide support to certain sectors in need, so as to accelerate national economic recovery. "The policy formulation in the PMK is the result of an agreement with ministries and institutions related to the business sector that are given incentives in coordination with the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy," he said in an official statement. for 72 classifications of business fields (KLU) valid from the issuance of the exemption letter (SKB) of PPh Article 22 imports until June 30, 2022. Second, the reduction in the amount of PPh Article 25 installments for 156 KLU until the tax period June 2022.
