A logger in an industrial forest plantation in Pelalawan Regency, Riau, Tugiyat (41), was killed by a Sumatran tiger.

The attack occurred in the work area of ​​PT Simpang Kanan (Sinar Mas Group), Pulau Muda Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan, Saturday (5/2/2022). At 5:35 p.m., the victim was found dead, said Acting Head of Riau BBKSDA Fifin Arfiana Jogasara when contacted from Padang, West Sumatra, Sunday (6/2).
