BSDE Secures 3,752 Hectare Land Reserves
PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) posted a positive performance with a net profit surge of 154.19% to 930.78 billion as of the third quarter of 2021.
The surge in profit growth is inseparable from the sales performance of property units owned by BSDE. "In the first nine months of 2021, Bumi Serpong Damai managed to record revenue of Rp 5.17 trillion, growing double digits, to be exact 20.74% on an annual basis," said Bumi Serpong Director Damai Hermawan in an official statement. The segment with the largest contribution to revenue was , sales of land, buildings and strata title. This segment contributed 80% of BSDE's consolidated revenue or Rp. 4.14 trillion, grew 20.32% compared to 2020, which was Rp. 3.44 trillion. "Consumer demand remains high for these units. property units that we offer. Whether it's residential, commercial, or land," explained Hermawan. In order to support growth, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) secures a land bank or landbank of 3,752 hectares (Ha). This land reserve consists of BSD City covering an area of 2,128 Ha, then Grand Wisata Bekasi with an area of 444 ha and Benowo, Surabaya 435 ha. Hermawan explained that the land reserves owned by the company are currently located in strategic locations in big cities in Indonesia, such as Greater Jakarta, Surabaya, Makassar, Palembang, Balikpapan and Samarinda.
