SKK Migas, PetroChina and WKS Collaboration Help 12 Cows in Tanjabtim

Caring for the community in its working area, PetroChina International Jabung Ltd provides cattle assistance to a farmer group in Mencolok Village, Mendahara Ulu, East Tanjung Jabung

Two farmer groups in Pasir Putih Hamlet, Mencolok Village received the assistance, namely the Karya Makmur Farmers Group and Karya Tani. This assistance is a program to develop cattle breeding centers in the region. The activity was attended by Yulian as Comdev Supervisor of PetroChina International Jabung Ltd, Anwar Sadat as Acting Secretary of the Tanjabtim Plantation and Livestock Service, as well as farmer groups. Yulian said that PetroChina together with PT Wira Karya Sakti (WKS) provided assistance with 12 cows for two farmer groups in Mencolok Village. “I think the synergy program between PetroChina and WKS is very good. These two large companies in the Mencolok Village area have contributed to helping the community's economy in the cattle breeding program," he said. Yulian explained that in this program his party collaborated with officers from the Tanjabtim Disbunnak, to monitor and check the health of the distributed livestock. Bambang Kisworo from PT WKS said that the village community empowerment program carried out by PetroChina and PT WKS was the umpteenth time. In Mencolok Village, several assistance programs have been carried out to the community. Now WKS together with PetroChina are providing assistance with 10 cows and two bulls to two farmer groups.
